Position Description:
The Revenue Cycle and Data Analytics Project Manager maintains the scope, schedule and quality of the Epic implementation project for the patient access/registration, scheduling, billing and data analytics functions across the organization. Specific Epic modules under this individual's responsibility include: ADT and Prelude Registration, Cadence Enterprise Scheduling, Welcome Kiosk, HIM Coding, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Physician Billing, Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Remittance, Resolute Physician Billing Claims and Remittance, Cogito Data Warehouse, Radar Reporting and SlicerDicer. This manager works closely with the project director and other project managers to coordinate the various activities of project staff, ensuring that project milestones are met, key decisions are made in a timely manner and an overall successful Epic implementation is executed. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to handle mutliple priorities and deadlines, possesses previous project management experience and has a track record of demonstrated leadership ability.

Other Skills and/or Knowledge Required:
Access and Revenue Cycle Systems, Data Warehousing and Data Analytics, Project management, business management, systems management, labor management, and at least a basic understanding of key healthcare-related regulatory compliance/legal issues.
Core
Responsibilities:
Project Management - Assists the project director by tracking the progress of activities according to the project timeline for the revenue cycle/patient access and data analytics functions of the organization. Maintains a high-level status of ongoing issues, revising this list as issues are resolved, escalating issues appropriately and effectively communicating the status of assigned tasks across all levels of project leadership. Attends regular project meetings and provides relevant status updates to the project director and other project managers.
Project Decision-Making - Provides input that is useful in making key project decisions. Participates during planning and trouble-shooting discussions, helps formulate and evaluate viable alternatives at crucial decision points and assists in enacting selected solutions. Approaches problems and decision-making in a constructive manner by staying focused on defined goals and on how to advance the project.
Project Staff Supervision - Oversees the day-to-day activities of the revenue cycle/patient access, data anlaytics application analysts and other staff engaged in the Epic implementation project for the revenue cycle and patient access areas of the organization. Communicates with and motivates project team members effectively. Assists the project director in conducting employee performance evaluations, staff scheduling and authorizing staff time off, and ensuring that appropriate policies and procedures are in place.
Cross-Department Collaboration - Coordinates the completion of project activities involving processes that typically span multiple departments. Examines processes from an organizational perspective and realizes the importance of an integrated EMR/Revenue Cycle platform to the organization. Promotes systems thinking and a move away from departmental silos.
Workflow and Process Improvement - In conjunction with subject matter experts and other project staff, designs new workflows in a manner that will leverage Epic functionality to inreace efficiency, improve quality and reduce required resources whenever possible. Participates in the evaluation of major workflows and processes, championing Lean principles and process standardization.

Position Requirements
Degree/Diploma:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field
Experience Requirements:

At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a healthcare organization required. Prior experience with patient registration, scheduling and billing and data warehousing/data analytics systems is preferred. Previous project management experience is also desirable.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
