Responsibilities:
Liaise with visitors - Greet in person and over the phone.
First up for incoming calls/visitors.
Field inbound communications - Answer phone calls/general email inquiries and route to the appropriate internal parties as needed.
Payroll process and reports associated to Payroll - Union dues, labor hours, attendance, etc.
Spreadsheets - Generate and maintain spreadsheets that are used for numerous reports.
Billing/Filing - Enter, verify, copy, and file billing daily.
Communicate policies, procedures, and Union Contract - Be knowledgeable in assisting employees of new processes, rules, and regulations.
Adhere to Policies and Procedures - Safety, Employee Conduct, Attendance, etc.
Some Accounting Functions - Payables or Receivables.
Assist with Month End - Assist with closing process.
Assist with Inventory - Monitor, adjust daily inventory.
Cross Train - Must know all functions of the office to cover vacations and time off.
This includes safety, quality, and assisting other departments.
Cleanliness - Must keep a clean work environment and assist in housekeeping duties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma 1-2 years' experience as an administrative assistant, secretary or receptionist preferred Must have great attendance.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be proficient in typing skills.
Positive attitude and works well with others.
Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set.
Familiarity with office equipment (i.
e.
printers, fax machines, projectors) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint) Y5QMMvQ9GM.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
